Default Awesome Program

I had been searching for something to do this for a while, everyone said it was something that is only easily done in UNIX.

It allows you to play something on "computer 1" and hear it on "computer 2". Not just files, streaming, anything. wireless or hard wired.

I just found it today, it allows me and my dad to play something on our laptop, stream it to the media center, and the media center automatically sends it to the living room stereo.

So I don't have to get up, and go change the music/station/whatever on the media center. I can control it from my laptop, wireless.

There is however an approximately 2 second delay depending on the quality of the sound.

I, personally, think this program Rocks!

Yeah, exactly! you can do it with my PC to my cell, or my
PC to my bluetooth...

i need to figure out how multiple instances work with windows... (Skip)

I suppose i copy down the exe with 1 after it?

This is fantastic, but i would like to:

Have 3 output laptops(different port?)

One server connected to the living room sound...

This thing already does everything i wanted it to do....

(Skip) I want all of my laptops to be able to play on my awesome living room system..

I'm working on it.

it's never been that hard... just stream from the computer, you can run a playlist stream in VLC and just keep popping things in there

ive used the shoutcast plugin for winamp to stream to different computers in the house simultaneously. with the same buffer settings, its pretty much in synch.

theres also a plugin that gives winamp a web interface.... change songs from any computer... forward a port on your router and change songs from your phone.
