Nope. Never had a dog, but we bought chickens that I played with and then killed. I guess growing up in the hood allows you to not care?

 

I had friends who were Hmong and Laotian when growing up and the parents were old school about food so if it was served you had to eat it or you pretty much couldn't hang. So I ate what she served any time she offered and a few times I asked what a dish was and Kadon would tell me and Kampou would always laugh knowing Americans didn't eat the same as they did...he kind of got pissed when I didn't let it phase me a bit.

I have also eaten cat, horse, snake, alligator, possum, squirell and rat to name a few.

 

Hell naw.

My grandparents had a farm in the province though, where we'd, uh, get our fresh meat.

 

By farm you mean dog pound right?
