So with all the recent engagements, how's the planning going.

So far we're shooting for a 10/9/10 wedding. I just sent out the contract and deposit for our photographer. Going with this guy www.premierweddings.tv. Package gives us a Full rights DVD with all the High Res images. A 2nd photographer and a engagement package for $2100.

We also put down a deposit on our reception hall and caterer. www.PandPcaterers.com. The rate came out to $69.50 a head and that is pretty cheap around here. Includes buffet style dinner with 5 hour premium open bar. We're looking at roughly 150 guests.

Also, we're looking at having the wedding ceremony at hibachi. It's a little random, but alot of places don't allow you to have a ceremony on there site without having the reception there as well. There were some other venues but none that could fit our size group. The option for a church wedding is out the window since we both have 2 different religious views. Plus Hibachi is cheap, they only want $500.

We're still trying to pick a centerpiece design. We know we're going to use floralytes, but we're torn between 3 designs.

We know the colors are Black and Purple so we're going to change the colors accordingly.

Man, without TheKnot.com i'd be completely lost.
