My dog died this morning around 7:30. He was fine last night and not feeling well this morning. When I got out of the shower to go check on him he was already gone. His 13th birthday was in April, almost made it. He was half golden, quarter rottweiler and quarter collie.

My bf's dog died christmas day this year...he was about 13 or 14 too, Good Ole Blue the black lab. :[

Christmas eve I could tell it wasnt gunna be pretty the next AM, he was breathing really funny and his head was cocked up in the air the whole night in a really odd position..and he didnt move an inch from the spot he was in. Everyone knew what was gunna happen but the bf, he felt that Blue "had a cold and he'd be better soon"

He was a really good dog to this family and lived longer than we would have thought. Just wish I could have been by his side as he went out.
