Back in the day I got pulled over in Cali doing 116 in my CRX. It was topped out. That was with the D15A2. Never had the balls after that to top it out with the B16A2.

 

srsly???? wtf. i hit 142 in my s2k and it was struggling to gain each of the last couple mph's. but then again, i had the topdown too h:

 

I think the fastest I've gone in a honda is probably around 115-120 (buddy's old 91 integra). The suspension in my civic is too bouncy to go fast, it gets scary anywhere above 90 or so. h: 140 in a old Saab SPG, about the same in a 9-3 Viggen and about 160-170 in a NASCAR.

By far the the greatest sensation of speed I've ever had was going ~100-110 (speedometer only goes up to 85) in my 77 Olds. Sooo sketchy... the front end of the car was starting to lift off the ground :ugh:


...on the track.

 

The guys at the S2000 supermeet said with the top up, people have hit in the 170s and there are videos on youtube of it.

I've been 130+ in mine w/o any issues, top down.
