Mods: I posted this year to get a decent response from gun krew. Not all of them check "the thread" all the time. Please do not merge.
I should start by saying I already have too many bags.
This bag will probably primarily exist for matches but I'm sure I'd use it as a range bag too. The bag I've been using is "okay" but I'd like something a little large and also more easily organized.
i was using a cheapo walmart bag but after carrying tons of ammo back and forth it tore.
right now i'm using a bag i got at a ducks unlimited banquet. it's not bad but i'd like something more "range" oriented.
I'm between the following:
i'm between these two. the CED looks great, the Shooters Connection bag looks awesome too. shooters connection has a "Pro" and "Ultra" The "Pro" is $40 more (and only available in burgandy, currently
). The pro looks a little large for my likes anyway

Upon a bit of research, it appears the larger Shooters Connection bag is available elsewhere (other than direct from them) for ~160 in non-burgandy colors.
This is the "Pro" bag:

or one of the two midway shooters connection knockoffs:
Small
Large
The small & large midway are about the same size as the small & large Shooters Connection but at obviously significantly lesser price. As such, I'm concerned with the quality. Buy once, cry once and all that.

My issue is you can rest assured 99% of those 5 star reviews are right out of the box. I want to hear from people who've used them for an extended period of time.
you may be right. but it'd have to be pretty crappy to not be worth 40 bucks. some of the reviews did say it wasn't a hard bottom which kinda sucks. I don't know.

I've been looking for a nice bag to hold everything when I go to the range. Currently its just my 2 H&K cases which hold nothing but the guns. I carry my ammo in by hand along with my uplula.

If I wanted to spend that much, I'd buy the gigantor shooters connection bag.
honestly, no hard bottom no care. i usually carry my ammo in one plastic tub instead of boxes so that would present a problem unless i were to cut a piece of plywood to stick at the bottom but that'd be kinda ghetto
