I saw that on the news, I was surprised than anyone was actually against having the same thing done to the man.
Not only does that sorry excuse for a man deserve to have both eyes, and his face, burned by acid, but I'd take it one further and castrate him. Just in case.
I realized after seeing that story that if something like that happened over here (although I'd like to think it wouldn't), that the guilty party probably wouldn't really be punished sufficiently imo. Worse case scenario they'd get the death penalty (not likely) and that doesn't seem to match up properly.
