Default Migraine vs Floaters/Blurred vision

Anyone else get floaters before a headache? I've been getting some nasty migraines the last few days and they're always preceded by blurred vision. I woke up this morning and I was completely blind for 20 to 30 minutes. this pretty much happens every time I get a headache but, lately the the pain that follows the floaters has been way more intense, almost debilitating. I had some head trauma when I was younger that caused an astigmatism in my right eye and ever since then I've been getting migraines. I really hope it's not retinal detachment or a torn retina.

how many floaters do you see? any stars? both of those combined are signs of retinal detachment. my gf has had it for the past 10years or so. if you get it treated early there is a good chance you'll preserve your vision. btw you wont feel any pain associated with this... maybe it's a tumor?

but don't get all worked up, this is the worse case scenario

10th grade playing ultimate frizbee (SP?) of all things. I went to block someone from throwing the frizbee and I got hit just under the ridge of my right eyebrow at the apex of his throw. I was knocked unconscious for a good 10 minutes. When I came to, I couldn't focus for shit with my right eye. I went to the ophthalmologist and he said the hit was hard enough to cause an astigmatism in my right eye. Since then I've had problems with migraines.

They're not individual floaters it's more like a web of them and they're enough to completely obscure my vision to where I can't see shit in front of me. I can't recall seeing "stars" or flashes of light but, I can't say that I was looking for them either. Usually the floaters are combined with the gnarliest head pain and it's hard to focus on anything but.

no need to tell me. tell the specialist they'll know better than anyone of us here. early detection is key so I would go as soon as possible. in my gfs case she saw a few stars and floaters waited a week to make an appointment (because there was no pain) and she went into surgery the same afternoon. she kept 96% of her vision but it was tearing/detaching and it was only a matter of time before she went blind
