I've heard the computer industry isn't hurting too badly and there are quite a few positions open everywhere. I know in my city, yesterday there were 5 listing in the newspaper for jobs.

with 200 people going for them.

Job market is nasty. I was fortunate to find something very promising in February, but have put in 5 straight 60 hour weeks. After my day is done today, I'm at 67.5.

Because there's not really many options out there, I just have to keep taking it. :a:

5 straight 60 hours, damn.

I worked over 60 hours this week between two jobs and I'm pretty tired. I can't imagine doing this for weeks on end.

Werd, I had to work a few 60+ hour weeks a few years ago when my dad broke his arm and couldn't work. Shit was brutal... what do they have you doing Drew?

bump, will they hire me?

shit has kind of fallen through since last week.

golf galaxy (just a retail job) isn't hiring for a couple weeks, but i think i might have a decent shot there because of my golf experience and the manager knew who i was because of it

the time warner job with the temp agency was just kind of a joke i think. she said time warner doesn't need anyone right know, but will let me know.. bitch.

the restaurant part time thing i thought i had is sketchy as fuck.

still waiting for liberty mutual to give me an interview. i gotta kill it and get that job h: my contact there went to the same school as me and the person hiring / interviewing did too.

now i'm on the internet going to company's sites looking for jobs, not going through classifieds or job boards today, they suck.
