Growing up I had prison weights in my garage. The local prison got donated them to my high school since they werent allowed weights anymore and my school said "take em."

Thats how I got my substantial skreet kred...lifting with murder weights.

I have a set of PowerBlocks adjustable dumbbells. Sport 5.0 is the specific set--goes up to 50 lbs. You can get an expansion pack for up to 90 lbs but I am wimpy and thus 50 is plenty. Not the cheapest option out there I guess but they seemed worth it.
