Default Just another ski thread (boarders welcome too)

I really want to purchase a new set of skis. Any ideas? What are you riding?

I would like twin-tips with a focus on all-mountain or generally on-piste (70%). I really like:

but they are ~$700 :wtc:

i had salomon 1080's a few years back. they were pretty decent skis. i had k2 enemies before those, which were alright. i now have fischer rx4's. i went from the whole twin tip thing and got a pretty all around ski.

to tell you the truth, i can't really tell that much of a difference between skis h:

i guess i never really try them back to back, there is always spring / summer / fall between trying different ones

I ski K2 Omni's and my brother skis K2 Apache's, and I would rather ride his skis, but I like mine a lot as well.

My cousin just got a new set of Head skis, and they are sweet, but I haven't tried them yet.
