There's a few idiots that go by my house with their bass notes (20Hz=55ft between peaks) that don't fit inside the vehicle...so I have to listen to them, distortion and all.

i live in the semi-ghetto and hear them all the time. one idiot drives by often and rattles everything in my house. i hate it.

:wavey: I still have mine, eight years later.

From 2001 to 2008, the internal amp worked beautifully. I used the line level inputs for the sake of simplicity. When the internal amp failed in late 2007, I removed the internals, sealed up the case and converted it to run off an external amp.

I figure that the amp died due to heat and to be frank, the heat sink could be larger. That said, it's a great solution. I don't regret buying mine at all.

lucky.. i had mine for 1 year, got stolen, replaced it, 6 months later got stolen, put in just a cd player, got stolen a year after.... all at different places. :shrug:

whats the line level inputs?
how much did ya pay and all i need to do is run the power and ground cable?
oh wait, where does the signal come from?
