mechanic guys what's a good creeper?

phats you could do a 4 post or like an ammco space saver series

those usually have the lowest clearances.

2 posts tend to need a good 10-13 feet minimum and at least 12 feet side to side

min is usually 8.5-9ft for a 4 post but you risk potentially crushing your car accidentally. unless you have a super low car like an elise.

the cheaper ones i found lifts by the tire, the more expensive ones use lift arms to lift by the chassis.

We use these at the shop

Work great and we are pretty hard on them.

I have a metal frame model at home with adjustable headrest and would not reccomend it at all.

I'd buy a Craftsman pro, or a Snap on. The Snap on with the adjustable head is tits. I'm saving my pennies for it.

I have a basic Craftsman padded metal frame one that came in a floor jack & stand combo pack. Works good for me.
