yes it is... but the screen is a little small. I use it all the time on the couch... only time i use my laptop is to download stuff or to go on java sites.

I love my iphone. The apps are great and easy to use, install, remove ect... Some apss are just amazing. You itouch would also be used as a adress book.

The remote apps works pretty well... In itunes you enter the pin number that your phone gives you. And you have full control of your library. video, music everything. Its sweet if you have you PC connected to your tv and dont always want to get up to pause or skip ect.

EDIT: the battery life doesn't matter to me. At home, at work i have a charger. i rarelly run out of juice. But i also turn off the blutooth and wifi when not using it.

I think Drew did a good "review" on the Touch.

But IMO, if you just want music, get the Classic. If you want bells and whistles, go for the touch.

i just went to target and got the 8GB

thanks for the help guys

I have the 16gig 2 Generation. I love it. There are so many uses for it. WIFI is awesome. The calandar program is great for keeping track of my schedule. I travel a lot and it's much nicer to watch movies on my touch than on my laptop in my opinion. On the go playlists are better than the classic. The second generation also has genius playlists that you can save. Pandora has their own app for it, so I can listen to that if I'm around wifi. Some cool games.

I think it's worth the cost.

Someone have a link to Drew's review? I've been on the fence about getting the Touch and this may push me over the edge
