If you get a DUI on a bicycle, isn't it just a fine though? It doesn't go on your actual driver's license because you don't need a license to ride a bike amirite?

It might vary from State to State...but in NC..a DUI is a DUI all the way around, doesn't matter what vehicle you're in...its all the same

Wow, that's just ghey. I could see how it should be taken more seriously in like an urban area because you are more likely to run into pedestrians or out into traffic, but for smaller towns and stuff, meh.
after I got my underage a while ago, I was leaving the party and walking past all the cops.
they said "you're not driving, are you?"
so I say "no, i'm biking", and then realized that you can get a dui on a bike. they all looked at each other, and I was like "fuck." they just told me to go home though, thankfully.
