I think that's pretty much sums up why. I think it's cool and everything, it's a historic moment but I can't wait until all this Obamamania slows down.
Now that I think of it, all this hype works pretty well in detouring attention from Israel and Gaza.

i dont even think its so much that he's democrat ... plain and simple it's cuz he's black ... you have all these celebrities and richies touting over how awesome he is. i dont think you would see this with a typical looking politician.
