I'm just now starting Season 4. h:
I wish I'd given this show a chance when it first started...it's freakin' awesome! Starting watching it because of you guys.
I don't think Helfer is hot. She has a horse-face and she's too tall and for my tastes. That said, I'd still rail her.

I'm glad I started BSG when it was on DVD. I wouldn't have been able to survive some weeks.

I never really tried to figure it out. Though I don't think the 5th is really who they say it is.

[spoiler=what I think]I think his wife was actually just an older 6 model, as in she had aged, which is why he got so attached to the 6 they had imprisoned and we haven't seen the real 5th yet.[/spoiler]

She was hot for her day. But the quality has been amped up since the late-90's. TV execs have realized that the more hot chicks you put on sci-fi shows, the wider your demographic gets. You no longer just capture the nerds with one hot chick, you even capture the average joes when you put 4 of em on your show.
