I would have to agree.

High-end photographers don't use that camera, because it doesn't look professional enough. People paying big money wouldn't take them seriously on shoots. That's what it's like in L.A., anyway. The Rebel is an excellent rig.

So, I just got an email regarding this shot:

"Hi Scott –

I saw the picture you posted of Potawatomi Casino that you took with your 10-20mm lens. I work for a signage designer, and we recently completed an interior and exterior signage program for that casino. When all the major sign types are installed, we would like to get them photographed, but we're not willing to pay the high fees charged by a professional photographer. I see that you are a student. Would you perhaps be interested in doing some photography work for us, for pay? I imagine that the time frame would be sometime this spring or summer, and we would need to hire you for one or two days. If you are interested, can you give us an idea what you might charge?

Please review our website to see what kind of work we do, the sign types involved, and the kind of shots we take of our work (some of the images are mine, taken with a D70). Also, could you tell me what other lenses you might use? Do you have a tripod? Could you send us some other examples of your photography?"

I'm going to say yes. anyone who does this for some scratch (chef, vinnie, etc.) have any idea what price I should quote?
