I buy my beans and then grind them just before brewing in my French press.

about 3 years ago I was seriously considering dropping 2900 on a grind brew and also do latte steamy thing machine but i was the only one that drank coffee at the time so i didn't buy one. i liked it because it was a one step process. press one button and it brews the coffee then you just steam the milk and add to the brewed coffee.

well now i just have a cheap grinder and a cheap espresso brewer.

It's expensive and unfortunately I don't own this one, the parents do. :hs:

I have this fine espresso maker though:

It's not fully automatic like the other one but I like the ritual of making an espresso cup.

I didn't think Blue Mountain was that expensive, but it's been quite a while since I bought any.

thats why I got a grind and brew, its not that much more than the machine you got, and they work great.

its like $50/lb, thats a little too rich for my blood. I have a friend that's had it before, there are better beans for a way better price than those.

You don't have to clean it until 500 uses (and even then I don't have to because my water isn't hard). You can just pass vinegar through the machine or buy the descaling kit which is ... just vinegar.

The coffee's are amazing. I have never had podded espresso or Lungo's that tasted this good.
