For all season tires these things are amazing! I've been plowing through snow like crazy for the past few weeks, and we did have a break and the pavement actually showed through and dried out for a few days. Their performance on dry cold pavement was nearly equal to the Dunlop M3 Wintersports that I had on. Their snow performance is also nearly equal. Today we drove into Ann Arbor, the road commission plowed this morning before the snow really fell and now is piled high on the road, you know that nasty mush that it turns into when the only action on it is other cars. I have had no problems negotiating turns, start-ups on inclines or stopping, (I have had the abs kick in a few times) and have yet to be surprised. So far I've got about 3500 miles on them.

These came in at a cost close to my GS-D3 Goodyear Eagle F-1s, but I don't expect the performance to be their equal, but from what I've experienced on dry cold pavement on sunny days here they exceed the performance of my General Exclaims.
I was pitching some pretty big rooster tails around corners today.

Sweet, I'll look into them when it's time for new tires...which may not be too far away. Almost 19k miles on my stock all seasons but I honestly don't know how long these are supposed to last.
It looks like the ContiExtremeContact is $50 a tire less than the Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Positions, which are the ones I've been most interested in as replacements.

Oh yeah BTW I have 225/45/ZR17 and have them mounted on 7.5" X 17" wheels. So even with a pretty broad footprint they are working well.
