Move to a tropical climate, you'll see why tint is needed.

Is the windshield the only glass that's UV protective? Or did you just have the windows open?

no dog. I flew. I spent whole summers nearly naked running around in Georgia growing up and never burned. I can barely even tan in VA.

I was only at the pool for an hour and a half & then indoors beet red for days slathered in cocoa butter watching tv. I got in cars that had been "rolled up" while we were rolling around and doing stuff that week and it was death. Especially the day after I roasted myself. UV rays are out of control there.

I'll never forget walking out on the front deck on a beautiful sunny 100° day, and right across the street over the neighbor's house, there was a pitch-black mile-high cumulonimbus cloud dumping on them for a half hour straight, and then it left the way it came. We never got -any- rain that whole week but every day at noon, one of the neighbors did. Shit's eff'd up near the equator.

Thats what you get for living in Queens. I got a ticket for tints on my old civic once in manhattan and once in brooklyn, and on my lex twice in brooklyn.

I would think if you had gotten pulled oveer for it on your other car and then got the same tint on this one you deserve every penny of the fine.
No sympathy here...Pay the fine...get a clue...change the tint.

lol... I should of. I also had in my trunk some suction cup gun rack holders I picked up at walmart to mount my fishing rods on the wall.

highway patrol cars have the radars mounted on the exterior of their cars. So im assuming they dont need to use a gun.
Defintely, wrong place at the wrong time. My windshield isnt tinted. The sun was setting so that light was shining right in my face illuminating the car.

again, wrong place at the wrong time + bored cop = get pulled over for tinted window.
