One other thin I forgot to mention about the Pre, it's a multi-touch screen like the iPhone. Updated the original post again.
With any luck AT&T picks it up and sells it subsidized, otherwise it'll be those sky-high unlocked prices tark mentioned.
Um, the Palm Pre is launching on Sprint.
The N97 and Pharos are both GSM.
Ehh VZW has a great network but their device selection blows...sorry!

man ive wanted a n96 for a while and now the n97, but i can't justify dropping that much on a phone especially when you just buy it unlocked...sigh...waiting to see if htc has anything good coming up soon
