Default How to remove 3M bra safely?

Sounds sort of dumb and I feel the answer will be obvious (I just don't want to fuck anything up), but how do you remove the 3M clear bra from your car?

My 05' 2.5 RS came with one, but I had the driver side door and fender fixed/painted after someone hit me when I was parked in Philly. (I've been in Japan for two weeks, so I just picked up my car today).

They had to remove the 3M clear bra from the front driver side fender and I am thinking of removing the thing all together (if not just the other fender) since I'll have to wait more than three months before reapplying.

I've also been thinking of selling the car since I just graduated college and would like to get something new like a Legacy, but not sure. Nonetheless, I think the car would look silly with 1/3 of a clear bra if I try and sell it.

Thanks in advance, guys

Grip it and rip it.

80 grit sanpaper and a pad sander works well too.

Google says some heat like a steamer, heater or blow dryer and pull it off.

peel 180degreees do not peel 90degrees. that's the only recommendation I've read. i've also read that heating it up makes things worse, 70-80F range is best.
