Default Assignment Shoot #2

Thanks everyone for Round 1. Here is Round 2. These should be a little more accessible for the lazy If you want, include a short interpretation along with the link to your photo. Noobs, read this post. Others, new info is in RED.

Calling all photographers, whether you are an amateur, a pro, or just picked up a DSLR because you look freaking awesome with that lens hanging off your neck! It is time to load up your camera, switch it off of AUTO and snap some kick-ass shots.

Follow this: We will have 4 themes. This is just so we can be efficient while we are out with our cameras. The themes will very specific or be a little abstract. Interpretation will be up to the photographer. You can shoot all 3 or just pick 1. Before the end of the time period, you will PM me a link with your pictures. There are tons of sites to upload them http://spankdu.com/upload is one of them. I will create the thread after the cut off time with everyone’s photos. We ooooo and awwww and vote.

Rules:
1. Take the theme and interpret it with a photograph.
2. Photographs must be shot by YOU during the time period of the assignment. NO OLD IMAGES.
3. The longest side of an image must be 800 pixels or less.
4. EXIF data must be intact to the image. Do not use “save for web” when using Photoshop…instead use “save as.”

Here we go: Assignment Shoot #2- DUE Jan. 10th, 2009 11:59PM PST.
Send me a PM titled “Assignment Shoot #2” with the links to your pictures.
1. Music
2. Loneliness
3. Water
4. Time

I'm going to start thinking of ideas.
I thought of a couple good shots but my camera is lame and can't change the shutter time.

The exposure is made up of 3 parts that you'll really care about: Aperture opening, Shutter speed and ISO (film speed). I usually only mess w/ the last 2 depending on what I'm trying to do.

Any settings related to that?

More experienced guys, feel free to add more or correct me if i misspoke.

here's a good read for ya as an overview:

I can change the iso between 64 and 1000. I used a camera for a trip that you could change the shutter rate to like 10 seconds.
Is there a way to take a bunch of pictures or a movie and make it one frame?
