Burning all your music then re-encoding it to your computer is also another horrible way to transfer the music since Apple licenses it to a singular computer they make it a pain to migrate.

You would stil have this problem because although there are ways to do it, ripping from your iPod to your computer is no fun task.
Burning all your music then re-encoding it to your computer is also another horrible way to transfer the music since Apple licenses it to a singular computer they make it a pain to migrate.

try idump for rescueing your stuff from ipod.

When I say take a shit I mean..I cant even turn the thing on...Ive had it for at least 5 years now....so Im not surprised. I think a corupted file was on it and thats what caused it to do that. EVerytime I try to turn it on all that appears is a file with an exclaimation point over it.

Search around Google and you will find info on it. I had to do this with my Nano less than a month after getting it, but thats been a year or two ago now.
