Opera/Theatre seats
I'm getting some theatre seats this week sometime, whats the best seats?
whats a dress circle? why is the 'orchestra' area the best when its soo close to the stage..?

most people want to be close to the stage so you have a good view of everything. that's usually how things work...the closer you are, the more expensive...just like sporting events and concerts

EDIT: read wrong opera should be fun i been wanting to go to one of those there were playing some interesting ones at the San Francisco opera house.

Front row center seats are actually boring ass seats because you are having to look up and over for all action, so therefore your neck will begin to get sore. A dress circle is the area behind the orchestra. I actually prefer Dress circle or Mezz tickets due to the ease of not having to move my head to watch the show.
Actors are also trained to perform to the BACK of a house and not to the front row so therefore it will always seem like they are performing over your heads and you won't feel as connected to the show as you should be when you are experiencing theatre.
