on the s2k it takes two minutes with no tools. just pop the hood, unplug some rubber trim, lift, swap. i change mine every year.

the TSX takes four minutes and requires a screwdriver h:

There's no filter in the older civics and tegs, but I've heard you can clean out the blower motor and find a bunch of shit in there. I think I will do this now.
