I'm certainly not hating on it, but I was taken back by the comic book graphics and not being able to die.
Fun though, huh?
not being able to die doesn't mean anything. the results are the same whether you "die" or not. You get sent back to the last checkpoint. if you "die" during a fight, you keep playing, but the enemy gains a bunch of energy back. They could just as easily added a dieing animation and the results each time you get saved would've been the same, except this way the game flows better because you don't have to wait for loading or anything.
And yes, it's really fun.

I figured the lack of loading WOULD be a benefit. I'm glad I asked. Picking this one up for sure!

I finished the game in under 12 hours so you may want to rent it...unless you want to get everything in the game I say rent it. Save $50 and spend $10 renting it

But to the guys interested in PoP, I suggest just renting it. It took me less then 10 hours to beat it and there isn't much at all for replay value. But the experience of going through it once was damn good.
