yeah i read the same. the screw cap actually does a better job of keeping the air out.

that's what i usually do. if there aren't enough people interested to finish the bottle I don't even bother offering to open a bottle.

its a freshness thing. i was at a vinyard 3 years ago and they explained about it. went in 1 ear and out the other. too many free samples h:

I've also heard that some wine companies are going to start switching over to plastic bottles. they are still going to use glass for the higher end wines just because people would be snobby about using plastic.
