You're worried about your mom getting in and out of the Integra but this car would be just as low when you dump it.

I personally love the look of this thing but dont think you get as much as you're paying for. Good luck mang!
I thought about the mom thing right after i posted it. she'll have just a hard a time getting out of the IS300 once I lower it. the 240sx she doesnt even bother, and the integra, she just makes comments on all the windnoise and hatch creaks.

Speed3's are fun cars, but its still an economy car with a hopped up motor. I've been there/done that. plus i dont want to spend that much.

This crossed my mind also. FWD/4cyl hurts my feelings. See 2009 TL SH-AWD thread. ("Dear Acura, Fuck You.")

No such plans, but nice to know that a straight six with the crazy engine note is in there.

go drive one, they hold their value really well though, but he has not done any maintenance to it besides regular crap
Yeah I like smallish sedans. Its just what I'm used to. The backseat wont be for personal use per se, but if I need to give someone a lift, I wont be embarrased to say "my back seat is pretty much a small extension of my trunk".

my opinions on the IS300's....
cool looking cars... they aged well.

interior is decent... doesnt feel like a lexus tho. more like an integra gs but with suede instead of regular leather.

handles pretty nice. fun to drive.

the body feels pretty thin to me. like the doors and stuff.

backseat is smaller than our db's. marginally. id say its more similar to the backseats of a 3series. the integra sedan backseats surprisingly have more space than it looks, and definitely more than the coupes (which u already know anyway)

the automatics have a gay shiny metal shifter and ball shiftknob. some like it. i hate it. i dont like ball shifters.

if it wasnt for the fucking riceboys and the fake altezza lights, this car would remained one of the awesomest "regular" cars imo.

overall, i really like the car except..............the fucking gauge cluster! that chronograph shit is annoying and too busy for my eyes.
Yeah its just a lexus version of a DB. i'm prepared for that. Probably why I'm drawn to the car in the first place...that and the JZ/RWD.

shift knob i'll deal with as long as the cupholders hold drinks.

gauge cluster is busy, but its still an improvement over the 240sx.

yeah they're kind of cheap for what you get in my opinion. also another reason I'm drawn to them.

so this is what a stock IS300 puts out and sounds like. sounds better than a TSX (sorry), and puts out more torque (sorry).

funny that my old teg put out similar numbers

wow that sounds great.

I think the raddest looking wheels are those mesh kind. Too much space doesnt look that swell to me.

Goons have those wheels.
