i had a small fan one that heated up the room quite quickly. wal-mart has a wide selection for not much money.

I got an electric blanket for my bed when I got up to Seattle. Well, I had to buy a bed, so I got one of those double-decker queen size inflatable mattresses. It will be great for my next temp move since I got a small car. Having the electric blanket, and some flannel sheets, works awesome. Just bundle up till you go to bed.
