yeh, i heard on cnn some dude saying "the pilot was trying to aim the plane at the valley where no houses or anything were, but once he ejects, the plane just goes wherever.."

it's not the pilot's fault though, the plane just stopped working. he tried to get away from houses and what not. i'm sure probably still feels like shit.

I commend the pilot for trying to avert the plane from the area. There is a school here that is named after a pilot that he sacrificed himself when his plane malfunctioned and he knew the plane was going down, and he was headed for a school so he diverted the plane to the best of his ability to the ground in a nearby canyon. He didn't eject so as to make sure the plane did NOT hit the school.

P.S. I had a nightmare last night about a plane hitting my house :sad:
