I can attest as to how it broke since mine (well the leash) also broke that day.

The waves were hitting SUPER hard that day, it it thrashed his middle fin (attachment plate and all) right out of his board. This board that he broke was an older one. If by pretty colors you mean the white and blue, then that beast is here:

Dude I was watching Step into Liquid last night and one of the segments is on the guys that surf Lake Michigan. They may be small waves but a surfer is a surfer. Props to those guys for doing what they do. They may be super small waves, but still looks like a fun time. AND you don't get a salt enema every time you go down. :rofl:

im gonna have to guess it was holland area ... ive watched the guys surf before out there, im impressed just didnt think craig would be

i tried it there once but i sucked miserably lol
