A Bucks County mother accused of sexually abusing two teenage boys during a sleepover party at a friend's house was acquitted this afternoon of the most serious charges against her.
Angela Honeycutt, 39, was found not guilty of statutory sexual assault, indecent assault and unlawful contact with minors. She was convicted of two counts of corrupting the morals of minors.
A six-man, six-woman Bucks County Court jury deliberated for four hours before reaching the verdict at 4:20 p.m. The jurors' decision means that they believe Honeycutt acted criminally when she danced suggestively, kissed three of the ninth-grade boys, exposed herself to them and showered naked with two of them, but that she had no sexual contact with them in the shower.
"I'm happy about it," Honeycutt said of the verdict as sheriff's deputies led her from the courtroom. "I definitely made bad judgments throughout the night, and I apologize for that."
The charges stemmed from a teen party in April for about 20 boys and girls at the home of Honeycutt's neighbor and friend, who had asked her to help chaperone. After all but six boys departed, witnesses said, a drunken Honeycutt engaged in provocative behavior with at least three of them.
One of the boys testified that he had sexual intercourse with Honeycutt in the shower. A second boy said that she had fondled his genitals.
Honeycutt acknowledged on a wiretapped phone conversation afterward that she had showered individually with the boys and had allowed them to masturbate on her, but that she never touched them sexually.
No sentencing date has been set.

Just b/c there was no touching on her doesn't mean there's not "sexual assault". If these kids would've been 16-17..you probably wouldn't have heard about this story...but since they're under-age...there are different laws in place.
