You'd be surprised at how much money you can get back if you've got a decent card. I get like 2% back, and 3% on qualified purchases at gas stations, grocery stores, drug stores, and stuff like that. I got around $2700 back last year.

Thats what I do too. The only things I don't put on my card are utiltiies, mortgage, insurance, etc...that type of stuff.
I pay it off each month and get cash rewards

Mortgage. Minimum payment is $607.39 at the moment, and I've been paying $1200/m. The minimum payment goes down by about three dollars a month.
