A little too extreme for my tastes. That kite needs an emergency collapse remote or something, so if you get any higher than 15 feet you can just push a button and come back down without loosing your kite. Then I'd do it.

If I'm going off a cliff and towards the ground, that's one thing, but if I'm being blown completely off a mountain towards god-knows where with no control, that's entirely different. I can do big drops on my snowboard because I know what's going to happen, if you catch my drift.

no control?

theres a whole control bar

these arent just free fall parachutes

most have five wire control bars that allow full control of going up down left right

Do you call what happened in that video control? That's what I'm talking about, no fucking way I'm letting a kite pull me hundreds of feet into the air. He may be able to steer to some extent, but if the wind decides to throw him at a tree at 40mph, he's not going to stop it.

You can still come but you have to make friends with the neighbors or poop in the bushes.

nahhh dude theres back story to that vid ... i read it a long time ago somewhere

the guy was a total noob, he wasnt even strapped in if i remember, he just wouldnt let go and the kite was too big for him. it may have been a friends if i remember.

and the kites for snow and water are different setups now ... the snow kites are alot smaller
