Nope. With every phone in the past I could hit contacts, M twice, up 3 times for my mom and the phone would catch up. This one I have to hit contacts...hit M...hit M...press up 3 times...hit send. Sometimes have to hit send twice because the thing is so slow.

With texting, New Message, Text Message, Add, From Contacts, and again with the waiting bullshit...I always add from contacts so skip that bullshit step

oh i get ya, you hit m to keep going through m. on this one you have to spell it out. yeah that annoy's me too, but i got used to it. just seems like knit picking on a otherwise good phone.

there are 2 new verizon phones that just arrived after the storm. the HTC touch pro is the best phone they have, but its out of your price range, there is also a new sammsung phone that just arrived, the Omnia.

I'd take the Omnia over the Storm, but the HTC touch pro > all other verizon phones.

I'm going to try and hold out till verizon starts offering some android based phones. I've played around with my buddies G1 and love the android interface.
