got about 50-55 i think. all bought. a good assortment of genres as far as the movies go


im also one who never burns/DLs things w/o paying so all my hundreds of CDs are also bought. i dunno. i take pride in it

 

I stopped buying DVD's... even downloading movies.. since the begining of this year... found out it was a waste of money (was a new years resolution)... plus i've watched almost all the 'must-see' movies.

i DL music, but my thing with music is i go to concerts where musicians make money and they make money off radio (not alot). the people who make tons off the cd's are the record industries. if its a band i really like i will buy the cd but mostly i just DL

as for movies, the only way they make money is through sales and theatres for the majority. if i just burn copies of all the movies and everyone does there is no money and no more movies

 

That being said, I still can't justify spending over $5 for a DVD unless its on my top 10 of all time.

I buy all my DVD's in the bargain bin (<$5).
