Default Blu-Ray to .mkv

Anybody familiar with this method or know somewhere i can get some steps on how to do it?

I purchased a Blu-Ray PC drive over the weekend and want to backup all my Blu-ray movies so i can watch them on my Western Digitial My HD box in the bedroom. I've been looking around but not alot of places show you how.

Thanks

Yeah, really.

Dunno where this lies in your ethics/morals, but if you already own the blu-ray why don't you just get a scene released 720p/1080p rip of the movie?

They are releasing a better quality:size rip than what you'd do yourself...

If that's not something you want to do, depending the layout of your rooms, couldn't you just run a dvi to hdmi cable to your tv and just watch the full quality blu-ray disc on there? ...or is the main issue that you want to use the WD box?

I could just use my laptop but i'm looking to just get some use out of my WD box. I do "obtain" scene releases but some movies that i want aren't available.
