Werd always dress nice and have a clean look. Be as polite as possible and they'll love your ass. Also compliment them on little things like you like there house and her food etc. You'll be good to go.

Its funny you say that. I wonder if it works for all foreign parents?

My dad is foreign and all my gf's felt like he didn't like them (not true).

so far ive only been dating asian girls and its quite tough getting some positive feedbacks from the parents when we first met

I've never dated an asian. I'll have to get back to you on that -- there's a smoking one in my phd program. I'll snap some pics if she actually decides to attend class today.
