Default S2000 VS S2000 ver. last post

So I've narrowed down the car search to 2 cars. The S2000 and the S2000 CR.
I got a couple questions about the CR..

Is the hardtop easier to put on since it doesnt have a soft top?

Is it worth the extra 3k to get the CR? since I will order the hardtop if I get the base S2000 and from what i've read the hardtop is 3500 by itself. So I actually save 500 by getting the CR...

CR rides like a truck, but handles very nicely.

Not having a soft top doesn't make the hard top any less big and bulky.
In either case, IMO you'll need a hardtop hoist if you're going to do it yourself.

Hardtops are nice looking but take storage space and a second person or a hoist to take them on and off.

I hate the noise of the ragtop but I would pick it over the hardtop for convenience and if I felt I wanted a hardtop I would just buy the Spoon top later down the road...looks a lot better anyways.

I like the look of the CR top and the spoon top. They are different but both nice. I guess just choose what you think looks better.

hardtop is only about $2500 by itself, not $3500 unless you plan on letting the dealer install it.

Keep in mind you won't be getting a spare tire with the CR....oh and don't bitch to us if you notice interior body panels missing in the trunk. I think a regular S2000 would be more than enough for you to handle.

Well, I can tell you after a few miles at high speed you will be wanting that hard top, the wind noise from the soft top will get a bit annoying. If I was getting a new one, I'd only get the CR. Especially for just the extra few $$$ it's not like you only get a hard top with the CR, there are a few more odds and ends that make it nicer.
