Default HID for cars with projectors - any1?

the car comes stock with projectors but no HID
is it basically just plug and play if i buy a kit with the right bulb?

the cutoff on the stock halogen projector is very good (sharp)

which car is this for?

i got an xtec kit from a friend. this was back in 2005, so i dunno where u can still get them, but they were awesome. plug and play and everything fit perfectly. it was easy to tuck the ballast away too so everything looked clean and oem.

yeah i'm anti-plug and play HID, but i'm a hypocrite since i have a set in the integra. the output is so much better than the stock 9006 bulbs, but they're currently disconnected because some wiring issues i've yet to tackle (needs separate custom harness because some wiring problem exists on the car). the glare is nowhere near as bad as someone who has PNP HID's in a reflector housing, and I've never been high-beamed.

i dont like pnp hid's in a stock halogen reflector housings either, but i think the integras projectors actually come out very nice.

back when i bought it in 05, i think i got it from my friend for like $100 cash. it was brand new, but he had bought it for his A4 for $175 (retail at the time). he never used it to cuz he ended up selling his car.
