I am amazed at the cult like following this man has created, it's pretty scary really because nobody has listened to a damn thing the man has said, they just voted because it was what was in their face. Money can buy the presidency and stupidity can guarantee it.
While I agree that there are plenty of people out there like that, not everyone who voted for him is a naive idiot. I voted for him because I believe in the rights of women and same sex couples and I believe a timed withdrawal from Iraq is what both sides want at this point. I don't buy most of the BS he sold us during the campaign, but I didn't buy the BS from McCain either. On the topics that matter to me, his views are more congruent with my own than any other viable candidate's. Simple as that.

pobably won't happen. if you read in detail about the bail out it does nothing but help the big corps. big surprise because without them, the country wouldnt survive they forget who pays the taxes and keeps them around.

i had a friend who works at MassMutual explain the bailout in simplified terms to me. I know MassMutual isn't participating in it.

i answered your stupid little policy question, weather or not you agree with it thats fine i dont care, i still think he is better then what McCain would do...
and im sorry for you if you'e going to dwell on him being elected for the next 4 or 8 years because thats a sad way to live, sure i didnt like bush, i didnt vote then because i couldnt, but if i did vote against him and my Candidate lost, i wouldn't dwell on it every day or make a thread about it all the time.

racist? far from it. if anything i actually can see all the racism in this country that many are too blind to see, like the education system and the prison complex industry, i feel a black president gives this country hope, hope for every race and gender, and stops the norm of having a white man in office

Did I make this thread?

Nope sure didn't in fact Chuck made this thread in case you didn't know.

He is president elect and still has some checks to go through before they make him president so it's not over quite yet.

Do I care if the person I voted for didn't get in? no not really because I know a third party is a long shot at best, but I sure didn't want this socialist bastard in office and I hope they find his birth cert makes him invalid for the office.
