senior year of HS before i even graduated

i honestly don't know if i would want to join right now though with obama coming in. i'd want to wait and see how he is going to support the military before doing so

that said, it's still always a consideration in the back of my mind. the things the military can open your eyes to there are no other places in the world where that can happen

I almost signed for the Marines back in the day. I wanted to keep a structured life, in a market that was stable. The second Bush was elected I immediately recanted my want for the Military.

I would give up EVERYTHING to be either an Apache or F-22 pilot.

At our gym in college the ROTC people would lift in there.

One day the drill sargent or whatever he is was like "You have any interest in joining the ROTC" I was like "no" and he got all pissy. A few weeks later in the school paper he was caught for being creppy and looking at college girls weird.

I'd do it if I could sign a waver for my hearing - there's gotta be something that isn't heavily dependent on hearing? Maybe not front lines or flying Apaches/Cobras (which is what I wanted to do in the Army).. but something else.

Last talked to someone in Feb 07.

If hearing wasn't an issue, Army or Marines.

My boss hs hearing issues and he served in the Navy as an electronics engineer, so it's possible.
