You can get a refurb at apple.com for cheaper. It's a refurb, but still carries the 1 year apple warranty.

Yeah, thats what I did with my last ipod.
Trying to figure out if I should get the 32 or the 16. I would get it for christmas. If I got the 16 I wouldn't have to pay anything, if I got the 32 I would have to chip in 100.
Hmm.... I'm thinking 32 so I can download some apps for it too

My 3rd gen iPod was a refurb and lived longer than most of my friends new 3rd gens.

Yeah my 3rd gen was a refurb. The battery is starting to go and I would like the wifi capabilities of the new one. I think I might give this one to my brother.
