today was bring your wife to work day
or as we like to call it....jane wayne day.
the married marines had their wives dress up in their husband's cammies and basically let them experience the hell we call "work". they got demonstrations on how we operate with our vehicles and a few weapons demo's. they got to get in the pig's and actually shoot some of our weapons too. i can just imagine some 5' 100lbs chick trying to shoot a SAW. :chuckles:
for the rest of the unmarried marines in the battalion, we were herded into the base theather and got to watch righteous kill. they threw in free popcorn, hotdogs, and soda to make it worth our while.

When I was in the Corps one of my girlfriends was an active WM... She was a petite 5'3" and barely weighed 110, she didn't have any problems with any of the weapons...
