I just went to the dentist and they are finally pulling one of my wisdom teeth. They said all the rest are fine, but the one needs to come out within the month.

I had teeth pulled when I was five-years-old and don't really remember.

Can anyone share their experiences? Were you just numbed or knocked out? I am really edgy when it comes to my health and having sugrey and all that, I get really nervous. But they claim all I feel is pressure, nothing else.

Not a big deal, had too many teeth pulled. Just be weary of dry socket and food impaction after.

I had all 4 done at once. It hurt like a mutha but I never wanted to do it again so I had no choice.

In the sixth grade, I had all four wisdom teeth pulled at once before I got braces. They knocked me out on Valium and N20 before they went to work.

Aside from a bit of nausea coming off the N20, everything went fine.
Codeine helped a bit. h:

just request for some local anesthetics, you don't need general anesthesia. Man up, like natural child birth

I was knocked out but it hurt so much I woke up during the procedure. For the days after no pain just swollen cheeks and no solid food for a few days.
