Default XBOX crew ... v. media remotes

whats the verdict on these?

the ones direct from microsoft, is there any way i can get them to work with my pc if it isnt media center edition?

i found them for 9 bucks at meijer , 70% off and i want to know if i can use it with my itunes / xbox/ tv

I use my Logitech universal remote to control everything.

The 360 remotes are IR based, so without a receiver, it wouldn't work.

hmm with that software i might be able to make it work with itunes, thats all i want this thing for

i'll have to run there after work and grab one. i doubt they are gone yet they were on a oddball end rack in the corner

The exact remote is packed with the Xbox HD-DVD rom bundle too. I think you can find those for $30 new now, making the HD-DVD drive only $20.

hmm..I wonder if I can reprogram the colored keys to do the colored key functions of the DirecTV remote. :thinking:
