so i want to get an MP3/wav/watever track off a video from youtube... how does one go about getting this? is it possible? the only thing i can think of is somehow ripping the entire video clip, and then separating the audio/video track? (even that i dunno how to do anyway h: )

 

i use audacity for ripping off the audio and save it as mp3.

np. it takes a couple minutes to set up, but the quality you get is pretty good.
there used to be a internet link out there that would convert it to mp3,mp4, or wav, but would return the tracks as 10 minutes in length but only play the song length and leave nothing afterwords, it was shit.
