i have no problem with really religious people UNTIL they try to push their ways on me. if they are my friends i tell them nicely and they usually get it. but if they keep it up i tell them to fuck off. i don't need that shit.

Mormons rarely take the bible literally, in fact, we get a bad rap from other christians because we don't. I don't know any mormon who refused medical treatment because they thought God would heal them, and no level-headed Mormon would ever tell someone they're going to hell.

+1. This guy sounds a little crazy. I'm mormon and know about, oh, like a 1000 other mormons, none of who act like this.

You're right, The Book of Mormon doesn't bode well with Christians. But claiming authority to interpret the bible doesn't make them happy either.
